Extra features
Woodland Walks
Direct access to The Forest Of Dean lie behind the retreat. Either way you go you'll find much to explore - I found routes going to right were the quietest, although outside of the school holidays it's pretty calm.
The Garden
The garden is fully fenced with a mixture of stock-type fencing panel fencing and hedges (the hedges are also secondarily fenced), and gates have secondary fencing for small dogs.
Crates
Dog crates are available upon request, and dogs that are relaxed and settle can be left alone upon request, allowing you to explore places that may not be dog-friendly or suitable for your dog.
Dog Beds Provided
As well as treats, bowls and blankets, comfortable small and large memory foam dog beds are provided, ensuring your dog enjoys a restful stay.
Things to note
Roads
If your dog is reactive to traffic it’s worth noting that cars can be heard passing the road opposite the hedge on occasion. Horses may also pass the hedge on rarer occasions. There are no bird scarers or livestock nearby.
