Surrounding Space
The property is nestled within a 40-acre quarry that is privately owned by the host. There are vast amounts of woodland to explore, including fenced woodland areas for your dogs to enjoy.
Crates Provided
Dogs can be left alone for short periods, but please ensure that they are not stressed. A crate can be provided by the host upon request, allowing those with more anxious dogs to enjoy a spot of lunch while their dogs happily snooze away.
Sofa Snuggles
Dogs are warmly welcome to snuggle up on the sofas and make themselves comfortable. Throws are provided for your stay or you can pack your own so that your pups feel at home during their stay. However, the host kindly requests that dogs do not sleep on or in the beds.
Brean Beach
Just a short drive away, Brean Beach is one of the longest and most expansive beaches in the UK, stretching over 7-miles of sand, dunes and mud flats.
Unlike some busy tourist beaches, Brean Beach is known for being quiet and spacious, making it an ideal spot for dogs who prefer to roam freely without too much interaction with other people or pets.
Fireworks-free zone
This spot is peaceful and located well away from fireworks, making it the perfect place to escape to for New Year's with friends and family or a luxurious break away over Bonfire Night.
While we can never guarantee a property to be 100% free from fireworks, accommodations we share as having a 'reduced chance of fireworks' have a history of no fireworks, making them perfect for anxious and noise-sensitive dogs.
Things to note
In Person Check In
Due to the nature of the location, fully remote check-in/out isn't available and the host will need to give you the keys. However, you’re welcome to discuss with the host any arrangements that would best suit your dog's needs at check-in/out.
Fencing & Gardens
The property features two garden type spaces - an elevated terrace that is fully secure and enclosed and a ground-level garden space. The property is set within its own private quarry with plenty of room to roam. However, please note that the garden wall towards the entrance is low. however there are no other walkers, dogs or general public that can access that space.
If you're worried your dog might follow their nose a bit too far (we all know how they love to sniff out an adventure!), you might consider bringing a long line for the ground-level space, just in case they start their own little exploration whilst you're playing a game of table tennis!
