Extra features
The Woodland
This property has access to almost 30 acres of woodlands via the garden gate. Whilst the woods are private, a public bridleway and footpath run through some sections of it - it's not a well-used route, but there's a possibility you may encounter other people (and potentially dog walkers). The paths are, however, wide and clear, so it's easy to avoid close passing should you see anyone. The woodlands are large and not securely fenced.
Fencing
This spot is fully fenced and secure with stock fencing and secondary fencing for smaller dogs along the gates.
Things to note
Livestock & Wildlife
The woods have wild deer, and if you're lucky you may even see them pass by from the garden. Sheep may also graze the neighbouring field opposite to the right of the garden at certain times of the year.
Cats
There are two cats onsite that you may spot roaming, although they're likely to stay clear.

Two shipping containers have been transformed into a masterpiece of modern living. Their steel bones once crossed oceans bearing cargo, but now rest perpetually in a woodland clearing's embrace, providing a luxurious space. Floor-to-ceiling windows punch through the corrugated walls, with the vast panes of glass dissolving the boundary between the wilderness outside and the space within, and drawing in light that dances across the polished concrete floors.
In winter, these windows frame the snow-like living paintings; in summer, they capture the dance of leaf-shadows. This beautifully crafted space is arguably the most visually stunning place we’ve been to; everything has been thought of, from the gate that leads you to the woods from the garden, and the dog and wellies wash for post-walkies muddy feet!
By the entrance, a thoughtfully designed dog nook demonstrates that four-legged guests aren't an afterthought, but rather honoured residents. This cosy corner comes complete with doggy blankets, food and water bowls A basket brims with eco-friendly poo bags and natural treats. The provision of dedicated throws for the furniture means your dogs can snuggle up beside you on the sofa without worry. There's also a coat rack for leads and dog walking attire.
In the hushed hours of dawn, wild deer may emerge from the woods and gently bounce through the trees as you watch them from the breakfast bar; here morning coffee becomes a meditation as the sun rises through the trees. A gate at the foot of the garden marks the threshold between the cabin's garden and the wild beyond. The paths ahead disappear into the trees, promising tail wagging adventure with every step.
The crown jewel of this retreat is the luxurious free-standing bath positioned before a wall of glass that frames the undulating Shropshire hills. Here you can sink into steaming waters while watching the landscape change with the light, and afterwards heated floors and plush towels await.
The log burner is really the heart of this cosy space. It's a beautiful cast iron piece that radiates warmth through the room, with its glass door offering a mesmerising view of the dancing flames inside. Relax with the gentle crackle of the logs while you're curled up nearby, perhaps with a cup of tea and a good book. Wood is also thoughtfully provided.
The owner's property is located behind the brake, but the space is set up with its back to the property and is self-check in for privacy - you’re unlikely to see them for the duration of your stay, unless you want to.
The space sleeps four with a double room and a room that can have two single beds which can be turned into a double upon request.
