Howling Point is a large single-storey, fully detached cottage offering a secluded retreat in the peaceful Welsh countryside with no neighbours. This charming three-bedroom cottage is perfect for those seeking both relaxation and adventure. Offering comfort and seclusion in equal measure, this property boasts a well kept one-acre large garden with a wooded copse area wrapped in 2m deer fencing with a secondary lower fencing for smaller dogs. This spot is fully gated to 2m for extra peace of mind - perfect for Houdini hounds!
Sleeping up to six well-behaved dogs with more upon request, dogs are warmly welcomed, are allowed on the sofas. They'll also find bowls, blankets, poo bags, a portable muddy paw wash, towels and delicious treats awaiting them. The human guests also have a welcome hamper with some snacks, sweet treats and a bottle of fizz to enjoy by the fire.
The wood-fired hot tub invites guests to sit and relax with a glass of bubbly while enjoying the stunning views of fields, trees, and distant mountains. Keep an eye out for the red kites that soar overhead too! It becomes all too easy to soak in all the tranquillity Wales has to offer from this gorgeous spot.
A cosy lounge inside boasts a log fire and reclining sofas, perfect for lounging after a day of exploration. Elon valley and other incredible walks are a short drive a way and highly recommended. Equipped with Sky TV, Starlink superfast internet, and mesh WiFi throughout this allows guests to stay connected or enjoy movie night in. Each bedroom has a smart TV for relaxing mornings in bed.
As mentioned, Howling Point lies just a few miles from the Elan Valley, and only an hour from the coast, offering miles of peaceful walking from the door. Gilfach Nature Reserve is under three miles away and is a perfect place to explore the great outdoors from. Despite feeling remote, shops, pubs, cafés, and restaurants are conveniently located just a mile away. Private off-road parking adds to the ease and comfort of a truly stress-free stay, and should you stay longer the bin collection is at the bottom of the long double-gated drive, so will be perfect for dogs stressed by people or sounds.
