The Boot Room

We had the pleasure of staying at The Boot Room to review it, but it was also a celebration as it was my birthday weekend - I was about to hit the big 30 (EEK), and hadn’t made any plans. So, with a birthday cake in tow, we set off for the boot room.

Embracing the Journey with Loki

Welcoming Loki into my life in 2018 brought immense joy, but it also came with its fair share of challenges. While his silly nature and endless love steals my heart daily, Loki is what we refer to as a “reactive” dog, and so my journey with Loki led me to create this blog and website - a platform to share my experiences, lessons, advice and journey with fellow reactive or anxious dog parents.

Reactive Dog Friendly Cabin Unplugged

We went for a three-day stay off the grid in a reactive dog friendly cabin at unplugged! located at Pablo in Finchingfield, Essex, just North of London. The entire trip was incredible and perfect for anyone looking for an escape with their reactive dog. While two of the cabins are close to each other, you can see this on their website, so if you avoid those two, all the rest (from what I can see ) are very rural, with some even having their own fenced garden space. We traveled down on Tuesday, and the trip took around four hours (quite a drive for us and Loki). He was a little restless on the journey down but soon unwound when we arrived.
