Extra features

The Garden
The property has a fully enclosed garden, secured with a combination of 6ft and 5ft fencing with a secondary wire, making it safe and fully secure for all dogs, especially small ones.

Dog Wash
Muddy paws be gone! A custom-built hot and cold dog wash is on-site, featuring shampoo, peanut butter lick mats, and grooming items available for use at no additional cost.

Crate Provided
Dogs may be left unattended if they are comfortable, calm and will settle well. A dog crate can also be provided upon request.

Enclosed Paddock
Guests have access to a fenced grazing paddock for off-leash playtime, with the specific area varying according to grazing schedules. Please note that some paddocks may not be entirely secure for smaller dogs who are inclined to escape under gates.

Dog-Friendly Comfort
Dog throws are provided to protect soft furnishings, and dogs are welcome on the beds and furniture, making this accommodation ideal for pets who experience separation anxiety.

Things to note

Dogs On Site
The garden's entrance gate looks out onto a path that connects the muddy paws dog wash fields and other accommodation on site. You may briefly see other guests pass by the gate and they may have dogs with them. Very reactive dogs may struggle with this.

Dogs in the dog wash may see other guests and their dogs passing by if one happens to walk by while you are using it. The site requires dogs on leads, so they shouldn't get too close to you.

Strangers
As the garden's entrance gate opens onto a path connected the dog wash, fields, and other on-site accommodations, you may occasionally see other guests pass by the gate. It’s also possible, although rare, to catch a glimpse of someone in the shared courtyard from within the property. Since it’s a no-dog area, it would only be strangers. However, because of this, most guests tend to use their private gardens. If preferred, you can draw the curtain over the French doors for a visual barrier.

Tucked away in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, The Stables is a beautifully reimagined cottage for two, exuding rustic charm and contemporary comfort. Part of the Rowley Farm Holidays collection, this enchanting retreat is thoughtfully designed with warmth, making it an ideal countryside escape. Due to its location, it's an excellent choice for anxious dogs and warmly welcomes all breeds.

As you approach, a stone path leads you through an extensive and grassy enclosed garden framed by solid wooden fencing. At the end stands a picture-perfect red-brick cottage with a pitched clay-tiled roof and charming country windows - a fairytale-like welcome that immediately soothes the soul.

Step through the door into an open-plan living space where rustic meets refined. Vaulted ceilings with exposed oak beams soar overhead, while large flagstone floors and a jute rug ground the space with earthy elegance. Natural light pours in through generous windows and skylights, bouncing off soft neutral walls and highlighting each cosy detail, including the rich brown leather sofa, ideally placed for lounging with your dog. Curl up here with a book or your dog; dogs are more than welcome on the furniture, with throws supplied so they can relax by your side or even join you on the bed.

In the corner, a sleek black log burner stands ready to cast a warm glow on cool evenings - logs are plentiful and provided for every guest.

Enter the bedroom and discover a tranquil haven painted in a gentle mauve hue, evoking a soothing and romantic atmosphere. The plush bed is the centrepiece, crowned by a whimsical headboard adorned with green foliage and bird motifs, adding a touch of botanical charm. Soft pillows and a quilted forest-green throw invite long lie-ins under the skylight, where daylight gently filters in each morning.

Outside your private garden awaits a generous, fully fenced space ideal for dogs and outdoor unwinding. Soak under the stars in a rustic wood-fired hot-tub or light the barbecue on the stone patio and dine al fresco. Whether basking in sunshine or wrapped up under blankets, the space is yours to enjoy in serene seclusion.

With ample off-road parking and thoughtful amenities throughout, The Stables is the perfect countryside retreat - whether you're seeking a romantic break, a dog-friendly holiday, or a quiet pause from everyday life.
