The Old Dairy is a stunning 100 year-old barn that seamlessly blends traditional charm with a luxury twist. Once used as a dairy, this historic building still retains its original features, and is spacious and light, boasting a rustic stone-flagged floor, exposed brick walls, and beautifully preserved wooden beams. A gorgeous space that's a true slice of the Worcestershire countryside.
Inside, the accommodation offers a charming country-style kitchen and dining area, a cosy open living room space, and a large king-sized bedroom featuring a skylight that's perfect for stargazing. The Old Dairy warmly welcomes doggy guests, providing throws so that they can join you on the furniture and beds, as well as a welcome jar of treats and muddy paw towel. For the humans, there's Rowley's own pressed pear juice and other delicious snacks await!
The cottage is equipped with everything you could need, including a bathroom with a large shower, underfloor heating, an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher. There’s also a TV with Freeview, excellent WiFi (recently upgraded to Starlink), and ample off-road parking. Guests will have everything they need for a relaxing and comfortable stay, with the added bonus of a private garden, patio, and wood-fired hot tub for the ultimate in relaxation.
The Old Dairy offers more than just a cosy stay for its human guests - it’s also a haven for dogs. On-site, there's access to a spacious fenced paddock where your dog can safely explore off-lead, giving them the freedom to run and play in a secure environment. (Which paddock is available changes depending on grazing, but there's always one free.)
For those who enjoy outdoor adventures, the surrounding countryside is perfect for long walks, with both Shrawley Wood (beautiful bluebell woods) and the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty a short drive away. Dogs can be left unattended if you wish to head to the pub without them, and a crate can be provided on request if needed, but there are many local dog friendly pubs if your dog is happy to mingle!
After a day of exploring, there’s no need to worry about muddy paws. The site features a shared custom-built dog wash station, designed to keep your dog clean and comfortable. With warm water and thoughtful touches like lick-mats and peanut butter it’s the ideal place to rinse off and ensure your dog is as pampered as you are during your stay.
